In 2018, driven by a vision to produce a much more mentally resilient society, Mark McShane developed the Mental Health First Aid Course under the umbrella of Skills Training Group. Recognising the critical requirement for mental health awareness in every sphere of life, our organisation was born out of a commitment to encourage individuals with the understanding and abilities to sustain mental wellbeing.

Our Mission
At Mental Health First Aid Course, we believe in a world where mental health is prioritised alongside physical health. Our mission is to furnish individuals from all walks of life - be it in workplaces, schools, or communities - with crucial skills to recognize, understand, and effectively respond to indicators of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. We are dedicated to damaging the stigma surrounding mental health and fostering a supportive environment where everyone feels confident to seek and give assistance.

From recognizing the fundamentals of mental health, recognising symptoms of mental health problems, to intervening in crisis situations, our training modules are thorough and interactive.
