Lynn Elfers started Affordable Language Services in the year 2000 with a mission to serve as the voice for people from different cultures and to help improve lives by creating a level playing field for communications. She is passionate about her work because she personally experienced the significant contributions of medical interpreters. The mission has expanded over the years to enhancing the health & well-being of the global community through world-class translation and interpreting.

As the founder and owner of Affordable Language Services, Lynn leads an experienced team of more than 600 interpreters and translators. The company specializes in medical interpreting and translations, but has experience working across a variety of industries, including legal, social, manufacturing, and marketing. The company provides interpreters via phone, video and in person, and the translation projects they handle include document translation, voice-over, subtitling, and website localization.
