About

Our organization began with the vision of Bob South. In 1963 he saw an opportunity for a Midwestern company that aspired to be more than a distributor of industrial hoses. He saw a thriving operation that could supply vital parts to both industry and agriculture.

Over the years that vision has expanded, and today Apache is a highly driven, global organization with offices throughout the U.S. As we move into the future Apache will play a more strategic role in industry leadership with the ability to provide a broader portfolio of products, OEM components, and custom-designed parts for unique applications.

We�re doing this by growing our existing capabilities, and also through acquisitions. We�ve acquired Hose Central, a popular wholesale brand; EX-CEL Industrial Belting, a major player in the heavy-duty belt market; AG Belt, Inc., a leading fabricator of baler belting for the agricultural market; and Seals Unlimited, Inc., a manufacturer of rubber extrusion, rubber moldings, gaskets, and hydraulic gate seals for both government and industry.

Most recently, at the start of 2012, we acquired Trico Belting & Supply Company, the leading supplier of lightweight belting solutions. When combined with Apache�s industry leading heavy duty belting solutions, the result was the creation of the new Apache | Trico Industrial Products Division, positioning us as now one of the largest belting suppliers in North America.
