Responsible supervisory and professional architectural and engineering work involving the performance and oversight of a full range of architectural and engineering services (e.g., design, project evaluation, programming, schematics, construction cost estimating, preparing working drawings and specifications, contracts, bidding and administration, etc.) for City building and remodeling projects, such as Fire Stations, Police Stations, Libraries, Streets Facilities, Park Shelters, City Office Buildings, and similar building types. The work also includes design, review and planning for the City’s space needs, developing policies regarding building construction and efficient building operation, performing capital budget development and monitoring activities, and providing advice and assistance to other City agencies in the areas of expertise.
