About

I have more than 15 years in communications. After several years a print and web journalist, I moved into public relations. For seven years, I worked with educators and education leaders in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, developing employee communication and marketing plans as well as the materials needed to support those plans. I was instrumental in the launch of the districtâs social media, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest.
I currently provide communication consultation for education leaders, small businesses, churches and other nonprofits. I also educate the next generation of communicators as a part-time instructor at Central Piedmont Community College.
