Ted Blanchard thinks that his transition from mortgage broker to real estate agent was predetermined. While helping clients find the best mortgages for their circumstances, he also found himself answering questions about their real estate transactions. “I was surprised at the lack of information and service that some of my mortgage clients were receiving from their real estate agents. I saw an opening for someone with my financial background who could also handle all the details of buying or selling a home. So I obtained my Texas real estate license in 2006.”

Since then, Ted has provided an exceptional level of service to people buying or selling a home in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Combining his extensive knowledge of the mortgage industry with his commitment to 100% satisfaction for his clients, Ted has become the “go-to guy” in DFW real estate.

“The home buying and selling processes are complex ones, with many intricate components that need to mesh on schedule,” explains Ted. “I utilize technology to help put the pieces together for a seamless experience. But throughout the entire transaction, person-to-person communication is critical. I never let the tech overtake the personal relationship I have with each of my clients.”

As a long time resident of Dallas/Fort Worth, Ted is familiar with the many types of homes and communities throughout the metroplex. “There are mini-markets within many of the neighborhoods here in DFW,” says Ted. “I listen carefully to what my clients want and then pinpoint areas that match their lifestyle and financial needs.” Whether it’s a single-family home, certified green home, townhome, condo or new construction, Ted is committed to finding the ideal property for each client.

When he’s not helping homebuyers and sellers in the DFW area, Ted enjoys spending time with his wife and son as well as running, swimming and biking. He is a longtime devotee of hot yoga and has played Ultimate Frisbee for three decades. An avid soccer fan, Ted supports his local MLS team, FC Dallas, and volunteers with the Frisco Soccer Association as a League Director.
